JANUARY LODGE NEWS
Dear friends,
Finally summer has come to the south coast, the water is warming up and the visibility is great again. While the boat is busy there are usually places free as we can carry 16 people. So give us a ring and join in.
Many will have heard of a diving related death at Merimbula wharf last week. We offer our condolences to those involved however would like to assure our customers that this diver was a visitor from Victoria and had nothing to do with Merimbula Divers Lodge. We pride ourselves on our safety record and have had no cases of significant diving injury since we took over the operation of the lodge.
We are keen to have more members of "MERIMBULA GROPERS" our dive club, great discounts, priority on dive trips and a group to ensure you can always find a dive buddy. There is only one space left for our Uepi dive booking at this stage - though we may be able to secure more spaces - contact us soon - see our dive trips page for details.
The Sydney Weekender wreck diving episode featured the Tasman Hauler and Merimbula Divers Lodge aired November 2010 showing the fantastic wreck diving in Spring and the spectacular whales that come to the south coast - check out the video.
